• Server-side encryption protects against unauthorized server access
• Your files are decrypted only during authorized download requests

Virus Scanning

The only scanning we perform on your files is a virus scan before upload to protect our servers and other users. After the virus scan is complete, your files are immediately encrypted. We do not:

• Scan file contents for any other purpose
• Use AI or machine learning on your files
• Index file contents for search purposes
• Analyze your files for advertising or data mining

4. What We Don't Do With Your Data

We are committed to the following principles:

• We don't sell your data. Ever. Under any circumstances.
• We don't share your data. Your files and information are never shared with third parties for marketing, analytics, or any other purpose.
• We don't scan your files. Beyond the initial virus scan, we never examine file contents.
• We don't use AI on your data. Your files are not used to train AI models or machine learning algorithms.

5. Bandwidth and Speed Allocations

CloudX provides the following bandwidth allocations per plan tier:

• Free Plan: 2 MB/s (16 Mbps)
• Basic Plan: 4 MB/s (32 Mbps)
• Plus Plan: 6 MB/s (48 Mbps)
• Pro Plan: 10 MB/s (80 Mbps)

Note: These speeds apply to both uploads and downloads. Please ensure your internet connection speed is sufficient to take full advantage of your plan's allocated bandwidth. (1 MB/s = 8 Mbps)

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your files remain on our servers for as long as you maintain your account. You can delete files at any time, and they will be permanently removed from our servers.

If you close your account, all your files and associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Service Continuity

Your subscription plans are ongoing and will continue until:

• You cancel your subscription
• CloudX ceases operations (with 30 days advance notice)

The Free Plan is free forever and requires no payment or credit card information.

8. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• AES-256 bit server-side encryption for all stored files
• Secure HTTPS connections for all data transfers
• Regular security audits and updates
• Isolated storage infrastructure
